  1. Freedom Days
    The Fourth of July is celebrated with a variety of special events between June 28 and July 4, 2018. Events include a fireworks display, night parade, Party in the Park, skateboarding competition, concerts, tournaments, gem and mineral show and more!
  2. TGIF
    Celebrate Fridays at TGIF in Orchard Plaza Park in Historic Downtown Farmington with live music! TGIF takes place every Friday June – July from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Grab lunch at the on-site food truck or from one of the local restaurants in the area.
  3. Farmington Grower’s Market
    A public market that brings together locally grown food, hand-made crafts and the community. The Saturday market runs from 8am-12pm throughout the season. The Tuesday market will begin on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 and run from 4-6pm.
  4. Maker’s Market
    Explore the Maker’s Market for locally made and grown treasures! Hosted every Thursday evening July - October in Orchard Park, in Historic Downtown Farmington.
  5. Summer Terrace Concert Series
    Join the Farmington Museum on the terrace by the Animas River each Saturday evening during the summer months for a night of live entertainment at the free 16th Annual Summer Terrace Music Series. Don’t forget your folding chair and dancing shoes!
  6. Outdoor Summer Theater 
    Enjoy an evening of live theater, under the stars, amidst a natural sandstone amphitheater at Lions Wilderness Amphitheater. Performance held every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening from June 21 to August 4, 2018. The 2018 production will be the Broadway Musical, Mary Poppins!
  7. Four Corners Rod Run
    Celebrate your love for classic cars with this festival of live music, food and of course hundreds of hot rods, classic cars and low riders in Historic Downtown Farmington. This event takes place July 21, 2018 and is free to the public and guaranteed to be a great time.  Lee Rocker of the Stray Cats will perform and celebrity guest Horny Mike Henry will be onsite!
  8. Outdoor Movies at the Museum
    Join the Farmington Museum on July 21 for a showing of Jumanji! Bring your own snacks and drinks or purchase some on-site.
  9. Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.
    The Heather McGaughey Children's Theater proudly presents Schoolhouse Rock LIVE! Jr.! July 25, 2018 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater.
  10. History Hikes
    Join the Farmington Museum for History Hikes and discover the cultural and natural treasures of the Four Corners region! 2018 History Hikes are scheduled for the second Saturday of every month, May - September. Dates include July 14, August 11 and September 8. Space is limited and registration is required. This program is for adults 18 years and older and includes transportation and lunch.   11. Dinosaurs of New Mexico
    The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science presents the exhibition Dinosaurs of New Mexico, at the Farmington Museum through September 8, 2018. Farmington Museum & Visitor Center hours are Monday – Saturday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Entry is free.
  12. Live Horse Racing
    SunRay Park & Casino brings live horse racing to Farmington every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from April 20 to June 18, 2018. Post time is at 3:00 pm on Monday and Friday and 1:15 pm on Saturday and Sunday. SunRay Park & Casino is located off Hwy. 64 between Farmington and Bloomfield.
  13. Jolt Your Summer Challenge
    This summer contest inspires outdoor lovers and active families to explore Farmington and offers families a variety of free and affordable activities. Participants have from May 19 to August 3, 2018 to complete 30 activities and have the game card stamped at each location/event.

The FBA consists of local residents, organizations and businesses working together to energize how we live, work, play and stay Farmington. As a group, they have chosen to highlight events that go above and beyond to energize life journeys through exceptional performances and unique opportunities. Each month, the FBA meets for the Action Team Meeting and votes on the top upcoming events from the community calendar at www.FarmingtonNM.org.  Event organizers interested in endorsement need only submit their event to the calendar.
