Wednesday, July 3, 2019

9:25pm  Fireworks Display – Sullivan Hill
Farmington offers families a stunning fireworks display with simulcast on KWYK 94.9fm. Fireworks are set from Sullivan Hill, just west of the 30th Street and College Blvd. intersection. Parks and public parking lots in this area are popular for viewing (Animas Valley Mall, San Juan College, Kiwanis Park, Farmington Museum & Visitor Center). The fireworks display is made possible because of the generous sponsorships by Citizens Bank, Northern Edge Casino, Dugan Production & Mesa Sand and Gravel.

11am - 5:30pm  Party in the Park - Brookside Park
Free family friendly event! Vendors onsite to sell goods, food and activities. Food, entertainment, fun vendors, live music by Breezin’ games & activities for the entire family. Red Apple Transit will provide a free shuttle to and from Brookside Park and the FHS parking lot (Bus Route Map). Sponsored by KWYK 94.9fm.

  • 11am Skateboard Competition - Brookside Skate Park: Registration held at 11am, competition begins at noon. Individual Runs in Age Categories: 10 & under, 11 to 14, 15 & up. There is no entry fee. Sponsored by Sycamore Park Community Center.
  • 2pm Water Balloon Dodgeball - Brookside Skate Park: Water balloon dodgeball for kids! Look for the registration/information tent. This is a free activity. Sponsored by Four Corners Explorers.

3pm  A Musical Tribute to America – Presbyterian Church, 865 N Dustin
This patriotic concert and ice cream social benefits The ARC. Tickets are $10 adults, under 18 free. Sponsor: Showcase on Dustin. 

8pm  Outdoor Summer Theater – Lions Wilderness Park
“All Shook Up” by Sandstone Productions. Tickets range from $7 to $12, visit FarmingtonNM.org/OST for show details and ticket information.

9pm  Farmington Rotary Electric Light Parade – Downtown Main Street
Celebrate the 4th of July with a Farmington tradition, the night parade! This is a free and family friendly event organized by Farmington Rotary. Parade applications will be available soon.  Sponsored by The Bridge Assisted Living.

Friday, July 5

10am - 6pm  Gem & Mineral Show – McGee Park Indoor Riding Arena
Free admission, family activities, door prizes, and more - gemstones, jewelry & repair, books, mineral specimens, rough material, polished cabs and tools! Sponsored by San Juan County Gem and Mineral Society.

11am – 1pm  TGIF Music & Lunch – Civic Center Outdoor Plaza 
Free concert by Donny Johnson and food for purchase by Dickey's BBQ. Sponsored by City of Farmington’s PRCA.

8pm  Outdoor Summer Theater – Lions Wilderness Park

Saturday, July 6

8am - Dusk  Freedom Fours Co-ed Volleyball Tournament – Brookside Park
Co-ed volleyball tournament! Team fee is $100and due by July 5th by 5pm. Please drop off at Medallion Heating (108 W. Quince). Contact Ron Becker at 505-325-6575 with questions. Print Freedom Fours flyer and registration
