Farmington, NM Offers Exciting and Memorable Cultural Experience for Labor Day
Over Labor Day weekend, Farmington, NM will be the site of a cultural experience with 100 artist booths, a juried art competition and a Contest Pow Wow at the Annual Totah Festival Indian Market & Pow Wow. Tracing its origin back to 1988, the festival originally served as a marketplace for Native American artists to showcase their works and share their art with locals, visitors and fellow artists. In its 27th year, the festival has grown to encompass two full days of events and features incredible works from artists across the southwest. Festivities include a Navajo Rug Auction, food and events for tourists and community members alike. The Totah Festival will take place from 10am to 7pm Saturday, September 5th and from 11am to 5pm Sunday, September 6th at the Farmington Civic Center.
