Farmington's Annual Signature Events showcase the charm, character and culture of the area. Visitors can expect an in depth look at our local talent, artisans from the area, the diverse cultures of the region and, of course, our obsession with America's favorite pastime, baseball!
All events are listed in order of the date they occur, and all are family-friendly, quality events that are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.
Farmington Grower’s Market

The Farmington Growers Market is a public market that brings together locally grown food, hand-made crafts, and our community. Saturday market runs from 8:00am - 12:00pm (9:00am to 12:00pm in October) throughout the season. The Tuesday market will begin in July and run from 4:30 to 7:00pm.
Downtown Makers Market

Live Horse Racing

SunRay Park & Casino brings live horse racing to Farmington! The 2024 racing season will be April 12th through May 19th. Live horse racing every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with post time at 1:15pm. Admission is free and special activities and themes are featured weekly.

Four Corners 4x4 Week

Road Apple Rally

Each October, mountain bikers meet in Farmington, New Mexico to compete in the annual Road Apple Rally! The Road Apple Rally is a favorite for professional and new riders and is celebrating 43 years of racing this year.
San Juan College Luminarias

Southwest Apple & Chile Fest

Join the fun and take part in Farmington's Southwest Apple & Chile Fest! This special event celebrates our thriving art scene and unique history with apples and chile via a family-friendly festival in Historic Downtown. The fun begins with the Maker's Market and Art Walk on October 4th. The fun continues Downtown with Chile in OctoberFest on October 5th. More information coming soon!
