2021 Freedom Days Schedule

July 3, 2021

12:00-2:00pm Park Play Day 
Come to Brookside Park for some FREE old-fashioned fun in the park.  There will be lawn games, prizes and fun!  Food trucks will also be on site.  This Freedom Days event is organized by Farmington Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.  KWYK 94.9 FM, KNDN 960 AM, and Fierro 1280 AM will all be broadcasting from the park.  For more information, please phone 505-599-1484.

9:25 p.m. - Fireworks Display
Fireworks set off from Sullivan Hill, simulcast on KWYK 94.9 FM. Sullivan Hill is west of the intersection of College Blvd. and 30th Street.  This display is made possible because of very generous donations from local sponsors. Platinum Sponsors are Citizens Bank and Farmington Taco Bells.  Gold Sponsors are San Juan County/SJC Commissioners, PESCO, Mesa Sand & Gravel, and Cooper Fire Protection Services. Thank you to these generous sponsors!

July 4, 2021
9:00 to 11:00 p.m. - Freedom Days Electric Light Parade
The Electric Light Parade is a Farmington tradition on July 4th!  The parade will take place along Main Street in Historic Downtown, from Wall Street to Schwartz.  This Freedom Days event is organized by the Farmington Rotary Club.  If you have a question, contact them at 505 -516-7364 or visit The lineup for the parade will take place 7-8:30 pm.  Assembly Area is the large lot on Main St. between Wall & Vine. Entries will enter at Butler & Main St.

Farmington has held a Freedom Days celebration for 35 years now.  The events that are held during this celebration are organized and paid for by a collection of community-minded volunteers and sponsors. These volunteers and the businesses and organizations that sponsor the events are vital to the success of Freedom Days and make this Farmington tradition possible.
