July 3, 2024
9:25pm Fireworks Display

A beautiful fireworks display will be set off from Sullivan Hill. This unique display is choreographed to a soundtrack of classic and current patriotic hits and simulcast on KWYK 94.9 FM. Tune to 94.9fm early for regular updates on the display. If there will be a delay due to weather it will be announced on 94.9fm. Sullivan Hill is west of the intersection of College Blvd. and 30th Street. Popular areas to view the display include the Farmington Museum & Visitors Center (3041 E Main St.) and Farmington Public Library (2101 N Farmington Ave.). This wonderful display is made possible because of very generous donations from local sponsors!

Gem & Mineral Show

Enjoy gemstones, jewelry, mineral specimens, tools, books, family activities, door prizes and more! Hours are 10am - 6pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am - 5pm on Sunday. Held at McGee Park. Entry fee $1/person.

10am to 6pm Gem & Mineral Show
Enjoy gemstones, jewelry, mineral specimens, tools, books, family activities, door prizes and more!  Hours are 10am - 6pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am - 5pm on Sunday.  Held at McGee Park.  Entry fee $1/person.

11am to 1pm TGIF Music & Lunch
Free musical entertainment and pizza for sale by Three Rivers Pizzeria at Orchard Park in Historic Downtown Farmington. 
Sponsored by the City of  Farmington's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs, Historic Downtown Farmington and Three Rivers Brewery and Pizzeria. 

July 1, 2023
10am to 6pm Gem & Mineral Show
Enjoy gemstones, jewelry, mineral specimens, tools, books, family activities, door prizes and more!  Hours are 10am - 6pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am - 5pm on Sunday. Held at McGee Park. Entry fee $1/person.

11am to 3pm Ice Cream Social
Stop by E3 Children's Museum and enjoy great free entertainment and family activities, as well as cool treats and food for sale. 
Sponsored by the Farmington Museum Foundation.  

2pm to 9pm Farmington Jazz Festival
Join the San Juan Jazz Society and the Northwest New Mexico Arts Council for this evening of free musical entertainment at the Farmington Civic Center Outdoor Plaza. Food trucks, cash bar and a silent raffle also available.

Join us outside at the Farmington Civic Center plaza for an evening of food and FREE music by country music artist Collin Raye!

Farmington has held a Freedom Days celebration for 37 years.  The events that are held during this celebration are organized and paid for by a collection of community-minded volunteers and sponsors. These volunteers and the businesses and organizations that sponsor the events are vital to the success of Freedom Days and make this Farmington tradition possible.
