2024 Freedom Days Schedule 

Friday, June 28, 2024
10am to 6pm Gem & Mineral Show
Enjoy gemstones, jewelry, mineral specimens, tools, books, family activities, door prizes and more!  Hours are 10am - 6pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am - 5pm on Sunday.  Held at McGee Park.  Entry fee $1/person, children under 12 free.

8pm Damn Yankees
Watch live musical theatre under the beautiful New Mexico stars at Sandstone Amphitheatre within Lions Wilderness Park.Tickets $16-20

The Annual Yo-Yo Workshop with Yo-Yo Man Extraordinaire, Luke Renner, at E3 Children's Museum and Science Center. Learn the tricks you can use at the Annual Yo Down Show Down contest on July 4th.  This is a free BYOYY event.

Watch live musical theatre under the beautiful New Mexico stars at Sandstone Amphitheatre within Lions Wilderness Park.Tickets $16-20

12 to 3pm Farmington Fire Department 100 Anniversary Celebration
Join members of the Farmington Fire Department in celebration of 100 Years of dedication and service to the community. This special event will be held at Brookside Park and include: Touch the Trucks, Mini Combat
Challenge, Bounce House, and Much More!

1 to 3pm Firecracker Fun Festival
Games for kids of all ages at Bisti Bay Water Park. Bring your own shirt to tie-dye and enjoy popsicles. Admission to the pool gets participants access to the festival.

9:25pm Fireworks Display
A beautiful fireworks display will be set off from Sullivan Hill (west of 30th Street & College Blvd). This unique display is choreographed to a soundtrack of classic and current patriotic hits and simulcast on KWYK 94.9 FM. Tune into 94.9 FM early for updates on the display. Popular viewing areas include San Juan College, Farmington Public Library, and the Farmington Museum & Visitor Center. This display made possible by:

Stop by E3 Children's Museum and enjoy great free entertainment and affordable family activities, as well as cool treats and food for sale. The Yo Down Show Down will begin at 1:00pm. Proceeds benefit the Farmington Museum Foundation.
