The Sun Bus will be in Farmington on Tuesday, September 27th. They partner with local dermatologists to provide FREE skin checks to screen for cancer (or anything concerning) in their private exam rooms on the bus! They will also have free items available from their sponsors such as hats and sunscreen and special cameras participants can use to see their current UV exposure.Schedule your free screening online here. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States but fortunately, it is also one of the most preventable. The majority of skin cancer and melanoma cases are associated with exposure to harmful UV radiation from the sun and artificial tanning sources. By educating individuals about the importance of sun-safety, self-checks, and screening, the Sun Buss can help to save lives!
