Enjoy an evening of music when the San Juan College Orchestra performs on Friday, April 29, at 7 p.m., in the Henderson Fine Arts Performance Hall.

The San Juan College Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Teun B. Fetz, perform beautiful, lovely, lively music for the full orchestra and strings. Included in this concert will be a special clarinet feature performance of the breathtaking first movement of the Aaron Copland Clarinet Concerto by Katie Fetz.

The Orchestra will perform several pieces including Andante from Symphony No. 6 by Peter Tchaikovsky, Arr. Robert Longfield; The Concerto for Clarinet, Strings, and Harp; Movement I by Aaron Copland, Katie Fetz, soloist. El Relicario by Robert Longfield; Intermezzo and Barcarolle from Tales of Hoffmann by Jacques Offenbach; Light Cavalry Overture by Franz Von Suppe’, Arr. Merle Isaac; Three Lyric Pieces for Strings by Edvard Grieg, Arr. Robert McCashin; Vocalise by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

Don’t miss the opportunity to support the San Juan College Music Department and the Orchestra for the last concert of the school year.

Tickets are available online, at the San Juan College Bookstore, as well as in person at the door the evening of the performance. Online Ticket Sales will be available until midnight April 28th.  Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. Local music students can get in free by showing an ID card and stating the name of their music teacher and school.
