One of the highlights of the performance will be SJC Adjunct Music Instructor Mira Quackenbush as the violin soloist on the First Movement of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto. Mira's violin playing coruscates with brilliant musical flourishes! She is truly magnificent in this tremendously challenging repertoire!
Featured repertoire will include:
- "A Time For Us" by Nino Rota
- "The Girl With the Flaxen Hair" by Claude Debussy
- "Petite Suite (Children's Suite) by Georges Bizet
- "Prelude on King's Weston" by Douglas Mears
- An exciting medley of "Selections from Les Misérables" by Claude-Michel Schonberg
- A spectacular performance of the first movement from the "Concerto for Violin" by Peter Tchaikovsky

Enjoy a beautiful evening of music when the San Juan College Orchestra performs on Friday, November 22nd at 7:00pm in the Henderson Fine Arts Performance Hall! Tickets are available online, at the San Juan College Bookstore, as well as in person at the door the evening of the performance.Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 Seniors/Encore/Military.
