New Beginnings provides transitional living to survivors and families of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Survivors stay in one of the many on-campus houses for up to a year, rent and utility cost-free. Additional resources include on-site counseling, on-site trauma-focused childcare, and more. All proceeds from this event will go towards the New Beginnings program and the support of survivors.
This is a Poker Run starting at the Wooden Nickel in Bloomfield at 1:00pm and wrap up at VFW Post in Aztec with fun stops along the way! There will be food for all riders, music, a raffle, and a silent auction. $15 single/$20 couple, registration fee includes the playing card and food. All proceeds raised from this event will go to the New Beginnings and benefit those in their program. The Annual Poker Run will be held in April in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
