The Carnival of the Animals is a lighthearted musical composition of fourteen movements by the French composer Camille Saint-Saens. Each animal is introduced with a poem written by Ogden Nash. Listen to the hee-haw of violins and the roar of pianos. The pairing of the animals’ theme music with poetry makes this an outstanding performance for children of all ages.
