The San Juan College (SJC) Outdoor Equipment Rental Center will provide the gear and expertise for parents and children to experience the fun of canoeing and kayaking while learning how to do so safely.
Parent & Child, Learn to Canoe & Kayak is the first in a series of Boating for Beginners classes held throughout the summer. Others include Parent & Child, Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard, Friday, June 14th; Couples, Learn to Canoe & Kayak, Saturday, July 13th; and Learn to Stand Up Paddleboard, Friday, August 2nd.
Each class costs $10 per person or $18 per parent/child or couple. Registration is open now. 16 spots only so register early! No same day registration. To register, call 505-566-3487. For more information about the SJC Outdoor Equipment Rental Center, visit their website.
