Unique Visions Celebrating the Unusual

Unique Visions: Celebrating the Unusual is a love letter to all things found, old, rusty, abandoned, decayed, and forgotten. An archaeologist by trade, Kathryn Whitson first learned to draw artifacts with pen and ink in order to illustrate technical reports. After her retirement, Whitson picked up various watercolor techniques to add color to her drawings, opening up a whole new world of possibilities for depicting the unusual objects and encounters from which she draws inspiration.

The exhibit will be open 10:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, from September 9th-27th. An opening reception will be held on Friday, September 6th from 4:00-6:00pm. There is no admission fee.
