In years past, artists were encouraged to submit designs for the annual Totah Festival advertising poster. In conjunction with this year’s festival, the Farmington Museum will showcase all of the posters created since 1989.
The Totah Festival is a marketplace where Native American artists share their skills and craftsmanship with the community, visitors, and each other. The festival, held every Labor Day weekend in Farmington, features a fine art show, Pow-Wow, cultural dance expo, and Navajo rug auction. This exhibit is open Monday-Saturday during regular museum hours.
