The Animas River Valley is a bustling highway for some of the world’s most incredible avian acrobats—and there’s no better time to celebrate them than National Hummingbird Day!
Join us at the Riverside Nature Center for a day of discovery as we get up close with these glittering, featherweight champions. Learn how hummingbirds survive the hot high-desert summer, engineer stretchable homes out of spiderwebs, and use our local ecosystems as an essential global refueling station.
