Stories We Wear: Headwear & Identity Tour and Activity
Join the Museum of Navajo Arts and Culture for a special activity and tour of the Global Language of Headwear exhibit. Participants will explore how headewear communicates identity, belief, status and creativity across cultures. From ceremonial pieces to everyday wear, the exhibit highlights how communities around the world —including Navajo traditions—use headwear as a powerful form of visual language and cultural expression.
Join us from 2pm-3pm for an activity creating your identity hat, and tour with Michelle Zupan Farmington Museum Systems Curator.
