The program features diverse works by Elena Kats-Cherrin (b. 1957), Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate (b. 1968), and an iconic "Middle Period" string quartet by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). The SJS String Quartet includes Concertmaster Lauren Avery, Principal Second Violin Tennille Taylor, Principal Viola Karl Winkler, and Principal Cello Dr. Katherine Jetter. The captivating program ushers in their 2024 concerts and marks the first Beyond the Concert Hall program to be featured in Farmington. Audiences can mingle with the musicians during a casual reception after the performance.
The performance is from 2:00-4:00pm on Saturday, January 20th at the Connie Gotsch Theater at the San Juan College. Tickets are $7 for students and $22 for adults.They are available for online purchase here.
