20th century composers produced some of history’s most exhilarating orchestral music. Maurice Ravel changed the palette of the orchestra, and his groundbreaking La Valse is a choreographic poem depicting a dream-like ballroom with swirling dancers. The ravishing Symphonic Dances of Sergei Rachmaninoff showcase the orchestra in marvelous detail, as our Maestro leads an expanded San Juan Symphony.The work of Elizabeth Maconchy will also be featured.
