Enjoy a program of passionate music that will soothe both your soul and your ears. The evocative Symphony No. 40 by Mozart is presented as part of a three-year project to perform the final three symphonies of this undeniable musical genius. Mozart’s drama paved the way for the Romantic Era and beyond, and our concert features a potpourri of stunning music by 19th century Romantic masters, plus the searing intensity of Barber’s Adagio.
Musicians will be joined by our local student musicians in this unique side-by-side pairing.
Come early for a free pre-concert talk by Maestro Heuser at 2:00, and stay to greet the musicians with a post-concert reception.
