San Juan College (SJC) is excited to announce its 5th Annual NC3 National Signing Day event, set to take place on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall. This celebratory event will also be live-streamed on SJC’s YouTube and Facebook page, allowing friends and family to join virtually.

Modeled after the NCAA’s National Signing Day for athletes, the NC3 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Letter of Intent Signing Day recognizes students committing to high-demand career and technical programs. What started in 2014 as a single event in Topeka, Kansas, has since expanded into a national celebration.

This year, new and prospective students planning to enroll at San Juan College for the 2026-27 school year are invited to participate in this exciting event. Signing Day acknowledges students’ commitment to professional career and technical programs that prepare them for promising futures in in-demand industries.

Registration is now open and will close at midnight on April 10. Students who register and participate will receive SJC merchandise and be entered into a drawing to win $1,000 scholarships from the San Juan College Foundation.

Students enrolling in specific programs in the following categories are encouraged to sign up:

  • Arts, Communication & Humanities
  • Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Computer Science, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity
  • Education, Social Science, and Public Safety
  • Energy, Manufacturing, and Transportation
  • Health Sciences
  • Science, Math, and Engineering

“This event celebrates commitment, purpose and opportunity,” said Troy Brown, Dean of the School of Trades and Technology. “Our students are choosing meaningful career paths, and National Signing Day allows us to honor that decision and officially welcome them to the SJC Suns community.”

Students who would like to be recognized for their commitment to a successful future are encouraged to register today at Event Registration.
