Can a beautifully made garment also carry an environmental message? Artist Nancy Judd thinks so! At first glance, Judd’s creations are stunning and dramatic, appearing as fine couture and refined garments, but a closer look at her recycled fashion takes us deeper into her message. Judd has been commissioned by major corporations such as Target and Delta Airlines to create not only magnificent works of art but also to convey the value of consumer consciousness and the future of our planet. Her creations have been exhibited worldwide and have caught the attention of major media outlets including USA Today and CNN. Judd’s work has also been accepted into the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution.
