About San Juan Radio Control Club

The San Juan Radio Control Club was founded in Farmington, New Mexico in 1988 and holds AMA Charter #389.  We currently have approximately 29 members most of whom fly sport and scale.  We have grown to support most aspects of modeling including but not limited to RC aircraft, control line, and indoor flyers. The club was formed to provide building and flying support to those interested in the sport.  They also offer a Flight School pilot training program and certification. Farmington RC Flying Field

This facility is provided and maintained by the City of Farmington Parks and Recreation Department and features a paved 650 X 60 foot runway, large pit area, hover pad and a covered spectator area. Control line pilots enjoy a concrete pad and 60 foot diameter grass runway bordered by a safety cable. The field is located at 1615 Ojo Court, just off NM 371. 

The Park is open for use during daylight hours 7 days a week. Peak flying times are weekends.
