New Mexico Senate Bill 106 for Vacation Rentals

The City of Farmington is seeking vacation rental property owners to inform them of New Mexico Senate Bill 106. The bill, which requires vacation rentals to collect Lodgers' Tax from guests and remit it to the City of Farmington, will go into effect on January 1, 2020.

The City of Farmington Finance Division, a representative from the Farmington Clerk's Office and a member of the Farmington Convention & Visitors Bureau will be conducting training on the new law, including City business registration requirements. The training will take place on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at the Farmington Civic Center located at 200 W. Arrington.
