Join the San Juan County Extension office and Gathings Gardens for a hands on landscape planning workshop series this spring! This FREE series is great for community members interested in learning about water-wise and drought-tolerant landscapes from design to planting. Registration is free but space is limited!

  • Saturday, April 18 | 10am - 12pm - Planning a Drought Tolerant Landscape: plant selection, growth rates, water use and more.
  • Saturday, April 25 | 10am - 12pm - Building a Healthy Soil: understanding soil fertility, mulching, and other healthy soils
  • Saturday, May 9 | 10 - 12pm - Designing a Water Conscious Irrigation System from the ground up
  • Saturday, May 16 | 10am - 12pm - Proper Planting of Landscape plants: Hands on best practices
