Journey Through the Exhibits: Rediscovering Native America

Join the Farmington Museum for an inspiring evening of Journey Through the Exhibits, featuring special guest Bernadine Beyale, Founder and Executive Director of 4 Corners K9 Search and Rescue (4CK9SAR).

Families and visitors of all ages will be invited to explore the museum through a guided tour of its exhibits, followed by a hands-on activity inspired by the evening’s theme.

As part of the program, Bernadine will share the personal journey that led her to establish 4CK9SAR, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting with the search, rescue, and recovery of lost and missing persons across more than 27,000 square miles of Native American Tribal Lands where New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado meet.

Raised in a family of Navajo law enforcement officers, Bernadine grew up with a deep sense of service and a commitment to helping others. Although she earned degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from New Mexico State University, her passion for public service ultimately led her in a different direction. Through 4CK9SAR, she brings together leadership, specialized training, and community partnerships to support search and rescue efforts throughout the Four Corners region.

This free, family-friendly evening offers an opportunity to discover the people and purpose behind this vital work while learning how search and rescue teams bring hope to families during some of their most difficult moments.

Guests can experience the museum in a new and interactive way while hearing a powerful story of service, dedication, and community.
