Drive Ins of New Mexico

Michael Kilgore is the webmaster of Carload.com, a drive-in information source since 1998, and has been recognized by the Library of Congress for his work. Previously he was a writer and editor for the Kansas City Star and other newspapers.

Author of Drive-Ins of New Mexico, his other books included Drive-Ins of Route 66 and Drive-Ins of Colorado. San Juan County Historical Society NM past President and author-historian Zang Wood's Sodas & Shows, is featured in Kilgore's book. 

Mr. Kilgore will speak at the Farmington Civic Center on August 14th from 6:00-8:00pm. Both Kilgore and Wood's books will be available for purchase. Amy's Bookcase with SJCHS will host an author book signing following the presentation.
