Chiaroscura – Artwork by Paloma Baron
Chiaroscura is an assimilated series of realism and detail from Paloma Baron. Drawing from vintage fashion and 1980s alternative rock, Baron executes sharp, chiaroscuro techniques using charcoal and ink while heightening dimensionality. In addition to creating collages, she incorporates pop culture with a twist of questioning its beauty standards, identity and memory. Every mark and image made across a blank surface further progresses into a unique vision that Paloma desires to share with the world.
Gallery Hours: Monday - Thursday from 10am to 5pm | Fridays from 10am to 6pm
Opening Reception: Friday, February 27th from 4pm to 6pm
