Event Information
The public is invited to attend the final design presentation for the All Abilities Park. There will be two opportunities to see the presentation:
- Sept. 26 from 6-7:30 pm at San Juan Center for Independence (1204 San Juan Blvd.)
- Sept. 27 at 6:00pm at the Farmington City Council Meeting (800 Municipal Dr.). Council meetings are also live streamed at here.
The All Abilities Park will be the first fully inclusive, accessible and adaptive playground in San Juan County. This catalytic project will be constructed to universal design standards and will create an inclusive social playground environment that welcomes people of all ages, abilities, nationalities, health conditions, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The construction of the All Abilities Park will allow the City to intentionally create programming to support the mental and physical health and well-being of Farmington and the surrounding region.
