Venaya Yazzie
Venaya Yazzie is a regional artist from the Four Corners in northwest New Mexico. She is Dine'/ Navajo and Hopi and is a multi-media artist and poet. Yazzie also is a Cultural Educator and has taught art, bilingual literacy, poetry in the community, including with the Bisti Writing Project. She's a member of the Northwest New Mexico Arts Council. Venaya makes her home in the San Juan Valley, NM with her family.
