Navajo Lake State Park
Navajo Lake State Park features more than 240 developed sites with over 100 serving RV's. There are 5 campgrounds to choose from. Cottonwood Campground is located on the San Juan River. Sims Mesa Campground is on the east side of Navajo Lake with the Pine Campground on the west which includes the Juniper and Cedar Loop sites. Please note: New Mexico Highway 539 over Navajo Dam, located about 45 miles east of Farmington, New Mexico, will be closed to traffic from Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 to May 2025. Traffic detours will re-route traffic traveling between Navajo Dam and Navajo City north/south on New Mexico Highway 511 and east/west on US Highway 64 and may cause travel delays.
