Since 1988 Totah Fine Arts Festival has been an annual celebration in Farmington, featuring quality Native American art from across the region.

Talented Native American artisans are juried into this annual festival celebrating the craftsmanship and friendship of regional artists. The Totah Fine Arts Festival also features a weekend of fantastic food, a powwow, and the very popular authentic Navajo rug auction.

2026 Totah Fine Arts Festival Schedule

The 37th Annual Totah Fine Arts Festival will take place at the Farmington Civic Center on Friday, September 4th, through Sunday, September 6th. Events to highlight this year's festival will be an authentic Navajo rug auction, Indian Market, powwow, and the Totah 5K River Run & Walk. 

September 4, 2026

  • Juried Art Show Competition Registration, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
  • Rug Check-in, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
  • Artist Check-in, 12 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. 
  • Juried Competition Awards & Poster Contest unveiling, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

September 5, 2026

  • Artist Check-in, 7 a.m. - 9 a.m.
  • Rug Check-in, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 
  • Show open to the public, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Indian Market, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Totah Festival Powwow & Gourd Dance, 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Navajo Rug Auction, 1 p.m.

September 6, 2026

  • Totah Festival 5K Run/Walk, 8 a.m., Berg Park
  • Show open to the public, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Indian Market, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Total Festival Powwow & Gourd Dance, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
