Join the Farmington Museum for a hands-on cooking class on April 12th, 2025 from 12 pm to 2 pm to dive into the rich culinary traditions of Native American cuisine!
Event Information
In this interactive session, you’ll learn to prepare delicious blue corn pancakes made with traditional ingredients, and a unique sumac berry pudding (chiiłchin) that captures the wild flavors of indigenous foods. This class is open to participants aged 16 and older. Discover the history and culture behind these foods, connect with local ingredients, and take home new cooking skills and delicious recipes!
