While New Mexico has gained worldwide notoriety for the UFO at Roswell -
the lesser-known incidents at Aztec have flown under the radar!

Join us in the Pioneer Village as we step back in time to postwar
America's UFO craze and delve into UFO encounters right here in Aztec.

What is fact? What is fiction? What do you think?

Our presenter: Michael Mongeau is the reference/instruction librarian
and archivist at San Juan College. Born in Ohio, he spent most of his
life in Phoenix, Arizona. While there, he gained an interest in history,
eventually taking that passion to Arizona State University: Barret, The
Honors College, earning a degree in History with a minor in American
Indian Studies. In Arizona, Michael worked for various museums and
libraries including the Heard Museum Library, Phoenix Trolley Museum,
and Pueblo Grande Museum. Eventually, Michael took his passion for
libraries to Boston, where he would study at Simmons University, earning
two masters degrees in Library/Information Science (with a focus on
archives) and History. In Boston, they worked for various institutions,
including the Boston Architectural College, City of Somerville, and
Rogerson Communities. Today, Michael also serves as secretary of the
Aztec Museum Association and volunteers with the San Juan Historical
Society.

Any opinions are that of the presenter in his role as a trained
researcher, and do not represent the Aztec Museum Association or its
members. The museum does not offer or endorse any formal opinions
regarding UFO sightings, but enjoys local lore and those who have
offered testimony and stories of sightings.
