Sheriff Candidate Forum

The Aztec Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2026 San Juan County Sheriff Candidate Forum — a community forum designed to give residents a chance to hear directly from the candidates vying for one of the most important positions in our county.

A facilitator will pose questions to each candidate, who will have 90 seconds to respond. This is not a debate — it is a structured, respectful conversation focused on what matters most to our community.

Have a question you want answered? Submit it in advance through the form on the chambers website at aztecchamber.com. All submitted questions will be reviewed and selected questions will be asked by the facilitator on the night of the event. Questions will not be taken freely from the audience.
