Volunteers Needed for Road Apple Rally Course Maintenance!
Join Farmington Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, Evan Pilling for a morning of trail work on the RAR course. Volunteers will meet at the Calle Norte Bike Park Trailhead (East Glade Trailhead/Skills Park) at 8:00 AM, and will plan on being back by 12:00 PM. Note: Please be at the trailhead by 8:00 AM for check-in and safety talk. The group will be leaving from the trailhead promptly after. All tools will be provided. Volunteers should plan on being on the trail for up to four hours and hiking up to 3 miles on varied terrain, along with performing moderately challenging physical activity. Register in advance online.
Volunteers need to bring:
- Work gloves
- Water/snacks (min. 2 liters of water suggested)
- Closed-toe shoes (boots suggested)
- Sun protection (long pants, long sleeves, and hats suggested)
