Opera in the Afternoon

First Presbyterian Church in Farmington will present a special concert on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m. The program will feature a diverse selection of opera arias, folk songs, German Lied, and Broadway favorites.

The concert will feature Durango native Jonathan Patton and Eun Ah Roh, Assistant Professor of Music at Fort Lewis College. Their program will include selections by Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Donizetti, Gounod, Offenbach, Schubert, Copland, and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The singers will be accompanied on piano by Kyle Osborne, Director of Music Ministry at First Presbyterian Church.

A $20 suggested donation will be accepted at the door. The concert offers an opportunity for the Farmington community to enjoy an afternoon of exceptional vocal music spanning opera, classical song, folk music, and Broadway.
