Navajo Song and Dance

The San Juan College Native American Center, in partnership with the Farmington Museum, invites you to experience a day of culture and the arts on Saturday, September 19 from 1 to 6 p.m. for the 3rd Annual Navajo Song & Dance taking place at the Farmington Museum, 3041 East Main Street. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.

This year’s event will feature the Todi Neesh Zhee Singers, a group with over 45 years of performing and a Grammy-winning album. Navajo two-step and skip dance songs will be performed. Artisans and vendors from across the Four Corners will be there to display and sell their handmade crafts. Food will also be available for purchase. So, make sure to grab your lawn chair and come check out this amazing experience full of rich heritage.

"The Navajo Song & Dance is a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the Navajo culture. These gatherings welcome everyone, from our youngest children to our elders, and offer an opportunity to connect through song, dance and tradition. We are also excited to welcome back the Tódi Neesh Zhee Singers, who were part of the inaugural Navajo Song & Dance in 2024. It's wonderful to have them return for another year," said Director of the Native American Center Brandon Ashley.
