Students, age 18 and up, in this class will learn the Tiffany style, copper foil, way to manipulate art glass. You should come away with a strong understanding of how to choose the correct tools required to create beautiful works of art, as well as how to properly use them with complete confidence. Kay will introduce you to glass cutting techniques, glass grinding and shaping, glass foiling, soldering, and finishing using a pre-selected (by instructor) pattern. Kay will also share her tips for setting up your own workshop.

About the Instructor: Kay Duncan began learning stained glass 20 years ago and since retiring 5 years ago, has begun making and selling projects in earnest. Kay continues to learn and grow her skills with each new project.
Introduction to Stained Glass will be held on three consecutive Saturdays, March 2nd, 9th and 16th from 9am - 5pm at Three Rivers Art Center & Gallery. Students should plan to attend all three days of class.
Pre-registration and pre-payment are required by March 1st. Space is very limited.
