Instructor, Danny Moore, is a 6th degree black belt with over 20 years of teaching experience. Danny will provide a 4-hour session. You will learn simple, effective techniques that will help you to prepare and defend yourself in various attack situations. This class will involve using your body as a weapon of defense.
You will learn the basics of Self Defense, be more aware of your surroundings, learn what defensive tools you have within yourself and how to strike your adversary to help you escape threatening situations with impact. Develop self-confidence, discipline, increase self-awareness, and train yourself to know what to do in any situation.
We hope to provide these tools for a woman in need to prevent future attacks. We look to serve survivors of relationship and domestic violence, sexual assault or childhood abuse victims, in a collaborative effort with the non profit Capacity Builders, Inc. We would like to continue to offer this course to our community at no charge.
