Dungeon Crawler Carl: Parade of Horribles Release Party

Dungeon Crawler Carl: A Parade of Horribles, Book 8 in Matt Dinniman's New York Times bestselling series, drops May 12th. And Quill & Quest is celebrating in style.

Join them for a night of DCC trivia, a store-wide scavenger hunt, a Parade of Horribles costume contest with gift card prizes, and at 10 PM sharp, books will be handed out for everyone who pre-ordered.

The night runs from 8 PM to 10 PM, and tickets start at just $5. Whether you've been crawling since Book 1 or you just found out cats can wear tiaras, this one's for you.

All ticket levels include access to trivia, the scavenger hunt, and the costume contest. Gift cards up for grabs all night.

What's happening that night?

• Dungeon Crawler Carl trivia with gift card prizes. A store-wide scavenger hunt with 10 lore-based clues hidden throughout Quill & Quest. A Parade of Horribles costume contest, dress as any character or creature from the series, and compete for Best Carl, Best Princess Donut, or Most Creative Monster. (Cat ears absolutely count. We want you to participate.)
• At 10 PM sharp, Level 3 and Level 4 ticketholders receive their copy of A Parade of Horribles — right here in the store, on release night, exactly as the System intended.

Do I need to have read all the books?

• Nope. The trivia has an easy round for newer fans, and the scavenger hunt and costume contest are open to anyone. The more you've read, the more competitive you'll be, but everyone is welcome.

Is this a pre-order pickup event?

• Yes! Level 3 and Level 4 tickets include your copy of Book 8. If you'd like to pre-order separately and not come to the event, you can do that at shopquillandquest.com. You will then get your book on Tuesday, May 12.
