Desert View Family Services & Counseling would love for you to us them the evening before the Strides Against Suicide 5K Walk & Run as we gather in unity for a special candlelight vigil.
Together, we will pause to honor and remember the loved ones, friends, family members, and colleagues we have lost to suicide. In the quiet glow of candlelight, we create a space for reflection, healing, and connection.
As part of the evening, we will also hold a butterfly release — a meaningful symbol of transformation, hope, and the enduring impact of the lives we remember. This beautiful tribute serves as a reminder that even in grief, there is light, renewal, and the possibility of healing.
This vigil is not only a time to remember — it is a time to stand together in hope. Through shared strength and compassion, we send a powerful message: no one struggles alone, and every life matters.
We invite all members of the community to join us as we lift up messages of resilience, awareness, and support. Together, we can shine a light in the darkness and continue the conversation around suicide prevention.
Bring a photo and your memories of your loved one as we come together to celebrate their life and honor their memory with a moment of silence. We will close out the evening with a full candlelight vigil.
If you are a survivor of an attempted suicide, we are glad you are still among us… Join so we can remind you of the love and support you still have, and may you be a reminder to others who are struggling that there is still hope!
