Monument Valley
Monument Valley's enchanting landscape displays mesas, buttes and fragile pinnacles covering 91,696 acres in Southeast Utah and Northwest Arizona. The world-famous panorama of Mitten Buttes and Merrick Butte are visible from the Monument Valley (Tse'Bii'Ndzisgaii, Navajo name) Visitors Center. Places such as Ear of the Wind and other landmarks can only be accessed via guided tours.

- Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park Scenic Drive Hours: Summer (May-Sept) 6 am - 8:30 pm, Winter (Oct - Apr) 8 am - 4:30 pm
- Cost: Park entry fee: $5.00/person, 9 and under free, camping fees: $10/night plus
- Activities: camping, self-guided tours, guided tours, narrated vehicle tours, horseback tours
- Facilities: Visitors Center, gift shop, restaurant, open from April to October
- Special Events: Drums of Summer and Monument Valley Celebration Day
- Navajo artisans operate roadside stands one mile before the Visitors Center
