This is an exciting new collaboration of the premier chorus and orchestra in San Juan County. We welcome the partnership of Caliente in concert, led by Caliente Director Virginia Nickels-Hircock. The theme of the concert is From Cradle To Grave and features several composers celebrating birthday, anniversary, or death date milestones in relation to 2018. The Orchestra, under the leadership of Conductor Dr. Teun Fetz, will perform three works with the choir, Ave Maria, Christmas Lullaby, and The Thanksgiving Song. The Orchestra will perform works including Dance of the Hours by Ponchielle, Funeral March of a Marionette by Gounod; Irish Tune from County Derry (Danny Boy) by Grainger, Mambo Movement from West Side Story Suite by Bernstein, and Wedding Day at Troldhaugen by Grieg.
