Seuss Slumber Party
All day Friday, Mar 1, 2019 - Saturday, Mar 2, 2019 | Farmington Public Library
Leave your "stuffed friends" with our "Seuss friends" overnight! Put them to bed beginning at 4pm, but we will close the storytime doors at 5pm! Supplies will be provided for you to make a fort, sleeping bag, etc. Return on Saturday morning, March 2 @ 9am and wake your "sleepy stuffed friends" and join the "Cat in the Hat" for breakfast!

Introduction to Stained Glass

Students, age 18 and up, in this class will learn the Tiffany style, copper foil, way to manipulate art glass. You should come away with a strong understanding of how to choose the correct tools required to create beautiful works of art, as well as how to properly use them with complete confidence. Kay will introduce you to glass cutting techniques, glass grinding and shaping, glass foiling, soldering, and finishing using a pre-selected (by instructor) pattern. Kay will also share her tips for setting up your own workshop.
