Convention
Calendar
This quarterly calendar lists meetings, association and non-association
conventions, and special events. It provides key contact information
and gives the size and scope of the meeting, so that FCVB members
can contact the meeting planner and market their services to the
delegates.
Tourism Leads
Upon request, you may receive a list of group tour leads and mailing
labels. Free consultation on how to market your business
to tour operators is available to any member.
FCVB Publications
FCVB publishes an annual visitor’s guide, of which we will
produce 115,000. This publication is our major marketing tool
we use to attract tourists, conventioneers, meeting planners, tour
operators, and travel agents to the Farmington area. These
are also available to members in quantities.
Membership List and Labels
As a member, you will receive a Membership Directory listing all
of the CVB’s members, addresses, phone and fax numbers and
a contact person and, may upon request, receive computer generated
mailing labels of the membership.
Convention Service Consultation
You may meet with our convention sales manager for consultation on
how to obtain more convention delegate business.
Familiarization Tours
Qualified meeting planners, tour operators and travel agents periodically
come into Farmington to look at different options for their conventions
and clients. Membership participation is your opportunity
to show them what you have to offer.
Visitor Contact Report
Each month the Bureau responds to consumer inquiries by mail and
by phone about Farmington. Members will receive this quarterly
report which tracks these inquiries and also the Bureau’s
advertising programs.

shows. An agreement must be signed prior to check out of
the display.
