PLEIN AIR PAINTERS EXHIBITION
More than 30 artists from the Plein Air Painters of the Four Corners will enter their works in this juried exhibition of paintings, capturing the magic of light and nature in the outdoors, at the Farmington Museum at Gateway Park, 3041 E. Main St. Exhibition artists will be honored at a ceremony on September 17, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Farmington Museum.

NOVEMBER 1
CREED REPERTORY THEATER PRESENTS "THE PRESIDENTS!"
The Presidents! is a high-energy musical romp through history! While targeted to children this play is an enriching experience for children and families. Some of Creede Repertory Theater’s previous tours include Meet the Beasts (2007), Grimm Pajamas (2008), and Zeus on the Loose (2009). This is an excellent arts opportunity that will get kids jazzed about learning! Performances at 10am and 1pm at the Brooks/Isham Performing Arts Center.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIRS
Two great locations are featured! Come to the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center, 109 E. La Plata St. and the Farmington Recreation Center, 1101 Fairgrounds Rd., from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. Beautiful handmade gifts, homemade baked goods, antiques, and original art will be available for purchase. Over 100 talented vendors will tempt you with gifts you won’t find anywhere else.

CROWNPOINT RUG AUCTION
300-400 hand woven Navajo rugs are auctioned off at this monthly auction sponsored by the Crownpoint Rug Weavers Association. Rug viewing takes place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Auction begins at 7 p.m. Auction held at the Crownpoint Elementary School (72 miles south of Farmington on Hwy. 371)
